To boost its Commercial and Education Digital Transformation journey, Boston Scientific is looking for an experienced Digital Transformation Leader in EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the advocate of the organizational Commercial and Education digital transformation by shaping and leading the vision, value proposition, business model and activities along the journey
  • Drive the adoption of an integrated digital business strategy and of integrated marketing ecosystem, leveraging Divisional support
  • Ensure adherence of the digital transformation initiatives, to the broader enterprise technology strategy
  • Gather Divisional needs, ensuring there are understood and translated into digital requirements, in line with long-term vision
  • Collaborate with Multichannel CoE to accelerate implementation of Multichannel marketing with particular attention to inter-channel connectivity
  • Support the development of a Customer-Centric Commercial Process Design: end-to-end business processes to drive tailored experiences for segments/personas
  • Support the definition and implementation of new Marketing processes and the improvement of existing, ensuring that are digital oriented
  • Define and develop additional capabilities required to support the digital transformation journey such as leverage of AI to boost customer insights generation, UX led Digital platform design and Content Strategy
  • Accelerate the adoption of existing and new digital technologies, ensuring their integration, to enable the delivery of outstanding customer experience
  • Collaborate in identifying, assessing and selecting innovative ideas from internal and external sources, based on their value proposition, their use cases, and supporting their implementation and scale up
  • Accountable for resource planning, management, reporting and coordination of projects/initiatives to deliver change in line with business requirements
  • Embed benchmarks and success stories of digital journeys, from the Life Science or other Industries, into current strategy
  • Provide thought leadership on market-leading trends grounded on innovation and digital technology as linked to Medical Education and Interactive Marketing
  • Manage relationship with third parties and develop necessary partnerships in the development of new capabilities
  • Promote employee digital engagement on digital topics
  • Identify roadblocks to the implementation of digital innovation
  • Coach Marketing and Medical Education members into digital innovation
  • Ensure coordination and facilitate engagement of all relevant functions


Required Knowledge & Experience:


  • Minimum 10+ years professional experience in Digital Marketing, preferably within a Life Sciences organization
  • Expertise in the definition of Digital User Experience and in digital strategy
  • Knowledge in big data, advanced analytics, business intelligence platforms and other high-tech macro trends
  • Knowledge of Sales Force platform
  • Experience in driving the adoption of new technologies and solutions and of platform integrations
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence others across all levels of the organization in order to drive transformational change
  • Clear thinker, strong problem-solving skills, comfortable in challenging existing practices and the status quo
  • Change oriented, able to operate in an area of uncertainty and with changing/limited resources
  • Expertise in Life Sciences industry, specifically on Medical Devices, is highly valued
  • Financial and Business Acumen including business case development
  • Relevant Bachelor degree or MSc (preferred) in Marketing, Engineering, IT, Business or equivalent
  • Fluency (native or equivalent) in English
  • Willing and able to travel frequently
