Purpose statement

 

Our ability to influence and engage with HCPs at a single individual level depends solely on our ability to collect deep, daily insights of the way they operate, they run their practices, they take their decisions.

The way to do this is by integrating all information about them through all the channels with which they interact with us. Connectivity of these channels to centrally process and elaborate this information will give us the insight to operate more efficiently and more effectively with every single customer. Ultimately, these insights allow us to design a best in class multichannel customer experience.

To boost its Digital Transformation journey, Boston Scientific is looking for an experienced PMO. The purpose of this role is to provide strong leadership to a successful sales and marketing organization to meet business objectives and in conformance with EMEA Regional Business Strategy. The ideal candidate demonstrates proven capability to manage multiple project teams to complete planned milestones and to drive organizational change.

Experience or background in IT is strongly required. Experience in the Life Sciences industry is a plus

                       

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support the organization in accelerating its customer digital engagement journey through the coordination of teams and activities required to reach project objectives
  • Contribute in the definition of project objectives, milestone and activities and develop/integrate project plans to reflect business objectives
  • Oversee project workstreams implementation, ensuring compliance to timelines
  • Identify business initiatives to be integrated into existing plans
  • Connect the dots and coordinate between the Core Digital Transformation project and the regional Centers of Excellence (Multichannel, Sales Excellence, Marketing Excellence, Medical Education)
  • Oversee the implementation of new Marketing processes and the improvement of existing, ensuring that are digital oriented
  • Collaborate closely with IT to provide technology subject matter expertise for digital technologies identification and implementation, ensuring their integration, to enable the delivery of outstanding customer experience
  • Collaborate with the Finance team for the successful management of the program’s yearly budget
  • Communicate and present project/project status to senior management and key project stakeholders as appropriate
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and organizational engagement
  • Identify roadblocks to the implementation of digital innovation, ensuring proper escalation to senior management
  • Elevate issues and clear barriers to team progress. Quickly resolve conflicts and involve functional management as required.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and policies, by partnering with the Legal department
  • Own project management tools and store any project related document
  • Design metrics/measurements to track projects progresses and achievement of project objectives

     

Required Knowledge & Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred
  • Significant project and program management experience at an international environment and with high complexity
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading technology implementation projects
  • Expertise in Life Sciences industry, specifically on Medical Devices, is highly valued
  • Change Management experience with the ability to bring and influence others through change, also by leveraging proper change management tools
  • Expertise in Digital Marketing
  • Knowledge of big data, advanced analytics, business intelligence platforms and other high-tech macro trends
  • Must be able to set a vision, communicate clearly, show understanding of operational challenges and provide creative solutions to overcome obstacles
  • Must have ability to think strategically and then operate with a strong execution focus
  • Must be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, taking ideas from concept through to execution
  • Strong Cross-stakeholder management skills
  • Expert in vendor management and coordination
  • Project Management Certification preferred
  • Fluency (native or equivalent) in English
  • Willing and able to travel frequently
