To deliver exceptional value to customers and to strengthen Boston Scientific’s brand, the Marketing Communications EMEA Team develops and delivers integrated, customer-centric communication strategies and programs.

The role of the Marketing Communications EMEA Principal, Neuromodulation, focuses on the development and delivery of communication strategies and programs for Boston Scientific’s Neuromodulation business across EMEA markets.


Key Responsibilities


  • In pursuit of the “Maximizing Marketing Value (MMV)” methodology, lead “Integrated Marketing Communications” for campaigns, product launches, solutions, and services.
  • In collaboration with Multichannel and Product Marketing teams, define customer journeys based on customer segmentation, customer insights, and profiles.
  • Develop integrated campaign briefs encompassing strategic objectives, KPIs, timelines, and resources.
  • In partnership with Multichannel and Product Marketing teams, lead the definition and execution of channel mixes by coordinating a cross-functional project team that involves channel experts in Digital, Media Relations, Tradeshows, and Internal Communications.
  • In collaboration with the Content and Marketing Operations EMEA team, implement tools, technologies, and processes along the content lifecycle (content planning, creation, approval, storage, publishing, dissemination, and inventory management).
  • Develop and socialize editorial calendars for content and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creative, copywriting, and translation vendors, in compliance with Boston Scientific’s policies.
  • Define KPIs and measure campaign impact to inform future customer journeys.
  • Collaborate with peers in Marketing Communications and Corporate Communications EMEA and Global Marketing Communications to create synergies and efficiencies and ensure synergistic brand exposure.
  • Act as the brand ambassador to the Neuromodulation EMEA team.
  • Manage Neuromodulation communications budget.




  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences in Marketing Communications or Corporate Communications (B2B or B2C).
  • Designs and delivers strategies that place customers at the center of business decisions. Consistently identifies current and future customer needs and ensures the effective delivery of high quality and value-added solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Demonstrates collaborative leadership by influencing and motivating others. Wins support and acceptance for proposed changes and ideas through careful consideration of stakeholders’ needs and interests, through strategic relationships, and persuasive communications.

  • Based in HUB location (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK).
  • Proficiency level of English (any additional European language is a plus).
