This 24 month term role can be home office based with an assumed travel of 30%.


Purpose of this role

  • Responsible for supporting the profitable and sustainable growth of Boston Scientific EMEA, through the management of key Greenhouse projects funded via global support aligned to the EMEA regional strategy. Specific responsibilities include operational implementation planning with the local project owners & governance and process improvement.


Your responsibilities are

  • Manages planning & implementation of projects: Develops project plans outlining scope, work activity definition, timelines, roles and resources; Collaborates with and supports the implementation team including local country & functional representatives; Works with local country and functional team members to ensure that all supporting infrastructure including program guidelines, processes, training programs, organizational structure and new roles are developed and communicated. Provides updates to all key stakeholders, of progress through frequent communications of findings at regular intervals via reports and meetings. Develops implementation strategy.
  • Develop comprehensive measurement tools (KPI’s) to gauge the effectiveness of the projects.
  • Develops recommendations: Develops and delivers project recommendations to stakeholders related to profitability enhancement of projects in close cooperation with finance. Provides regular communication to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Elevates issues and clear barriers to team progress.  Quickly resolves conflicts and involves functional stakeholders as required.
  • Manages multiple projects with sub-workstreams across EMEA in parallel as necessary.
  • Partners with key stakeholders to develop future year Greenhouse planning post implementation governance and assessment.
  • Establishes and supports a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System, and the appropriate regulations for the area they support.  Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.

  • Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).


 Required Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3-4 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Project Management experience on implementation of projects and initiatives (e.g. Go to market, New market entry, Innovation project.)
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required (up to 30%).
  • Must be eligible to work in Europe.
  • Strong understanding of Change Management practices with excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead others in project and program management arena


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with communication and influencing at the middle management level across a cross-functional and global organization.
  • Experience in a commercial environment would be beneficial
