About this role


The main objective of this position is to collaborate with the Commercial Contracting Manager [CCM] or/and KAM [Key Account Manager] allocated in his/her Region/Cluster and support by: i) identify potential business areas of  opportunities,  ii) contribute to complete the offers/tenders that need to be addressed and iii) monitor that the execution of the existing contacts and agreements is the appropriated and follow the expectations.

The Sr. Sales Operations Analyst will use of the existing available information in all our BSC data platforms (account potentials, Price-Index values, GPO price comparison, revenues, target public list of tenders...) to support with data analytics the CCMs decisions.

Your focus region/ cluster will be France, UK, Belgium, Luxemburg,  Ireland, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Although the SOA is not expected to be in the front line (discussing directly with the customer or managing the negotiations), it is required that he/she can speak the same language than the CCMs in order to bring the appropriated support. He/she will need to be able to read and understand tenders / RfQs / Contract documents generated by the hospital/GPOs in order to provide support during the negotiations. For this reason, native language skills are required.


 Your main areas of responsibility are


  • Have a good understanding of all different data and reporting systems related to SalesOps and Finance that are currently available in our organizations (i.e. SAP,, iPat, ServiceMax, ServiceCloud, GSMS, Deal Execution Monitoring, PriceBook, Tableau…)
  • Demonstrate business knowledge and understanding of performance drivers in order to proactively draw actionable insights from reports and analytics. Good skills and capability to perform analytics based on different data sources, create and run reports through multiple systems.
  • Strong analytical expertise, used to implement applied methodologies and develop Data-To-Action (DTA) initiatives. Proficient data processing software user (e.g.: Excel, Tableau). Experience with enterprise and reporting systems.
  • Analytically minded, the specialist is able to correctly detail requirements and translate them into optimal analyses, reports and insights. Necessary experience to analytically assist Managers in commercial decision-making by developing the appropriate analytical tools
  • Complete ad-hoc and routine analytical requests to drive profitable deals and support the CCMs and KAMs in commercial decision-making (incl. regular reports on GPOs / selected customer performance, customer P&Ls, deal modelling, waterfalls and other tools to assist in negotiation planning and preparation, customer forecasts in support of AOP, strategic planning and individual objective-setting).
  • Support the CCM in driving client commitment and contract compliance by building, maintaining, and updating appropriate tools and ensuring a regular review process throughout the life of the deal.
  • Integrate new products and services into existing deals (e.g. assessing performance impact, aligning Customer Service, reviewing IPAT). Be aware of all the sales programs solution available in BSC (PayPerProcedures, Capital Placements, RiskSharing programs…). Make sure there is an acceptable level of standardization between different deals and customer so the situation is manageable.
  • Provide regular updates on the relevant KPI measurements, support the QBR process, contribute to the development of LT presentations (AOP, StratPlan) and any other business review tools.
  • Participate in customer meetings (eg: negotiations, tender process) and provide analytical support to the CCM/KAM throughout the process.
  • Keep himself/herself informed on the latest market trends and their impact.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of economic customer segments, needs and trends, which he/she effectively leverages in the face-to-face customer meetings as well as when completing required analytical tasks. Demonstrates business knowledge and understanding of performance drivers in order to proactively draw actionable insights from reports and analytics.
  • Remain fully updated on the contract execution, accomplishment and evolution for every single deal that is in place (pricing, stock, ordering volume, claims…). Be capable to set up the appropriated KPIs to monitor each exiting deal and be proactive to inform CCMs/KAMs about any remarkable deviation.
  • Be able to show to the customer the value generated in existing deal.
  • Effective in sourcing external economic and commercial data, and internal BSC data from the relevant stakeholders and systems, in order to drive analyses that offer valuable input into customer meetings.
  • A skillful collaborator, able to quickly identify and engage relevant stakeholders (e.g.: required data from FP&A or SPE, Customer Service, collaborating with local program delivery teams, liaising…)
  • Leveraging knowledge, best practices, and continuous improvement, with other divisional and geographical stakeholders to generate new ideas and approaches in order to support meaningful and innovative tool development, to create future value.


Who are we looking for


  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or similar disciplines.
  • Proficiency in English language is required, an additional language like France would be a plus.
  • Able to build a strong relationship with all kind of internal stakeholders (xDiv, Hs&P, Finance)
  • Confronts problems directly, taking action and being decisive.
  • Accepts guidance and advice from seniors, and actively seeks to mature professionally through developed skills, knowledge and behaviors that lead to increased performance
  • Knowledge of SAP-ERP and/or Tableau are highly recommended
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Productively and optimistically reacts to a constantly changing environment.
  • Self-motivated with great initiative attitude
  • Be able to lead projects with deliverables, deadlines and key milestones
  • Problem solver and self-motivated attitude
  • 2-3 years of experience in working for multinational companies.
  • Good presentation and argumentation skills. Effectively present ideas and solutions.
  • Travel requirements (in average twice per month 2/3 within his/her region).
  • Open to work remotely.
  • Person with meticulous and detailed working skills.
  • Common sense, pragmatic and hard worker.
