Purpose

 

In collaboration with EMEA Marketing, plan, manage and execute BSC presence at major European events to support our business objectives. Plan, manage and execute our customer events, kick off meetings.
In collaboration with Internal & Change Communications and HR teams, provide support to employee engagement strategy, planning and executing internal events and other projects driving interaction and promoting a sense of belonging and fullfilment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage tradeshows and major events for all divisions including planning, establishing specific goals and objectives, managing budget, virtual event platforms.
  • Optimize our ROI on events by ensuring data collection and digestion into our digital ecosystem.
  • Ensure compliance with Medtech regulation and GDPR law.
  • Manage vendors including PCO, communication agencies.
  • Propose virtual platforms/booths that maximize our customer experience and answer marketing brief, within technical constraints. Identify and propose creative solutions. Act as the reference for virtual congresses and events.
  • Drive employee engagement, by planning and managing internal events such as sales meetings and any other key internal events whether they are face to face events or virtual events. Act as the coordinator for such events insuring planning, execution, budget management, vendor management, best employee experience. • Support the implementation of culture initiatives and think of new and innovative ways to communicate in order to increase employee engagement and enable a thriving flexible work environment. • Draft compelling content that builds employees’ capability to adapt to new work patterns and encourages interaction.
  • Overall project management.

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • General knowledge and application of technical and business concepts, procedures, and practices.
  • Interprets company policies and procedures to resolve issues.
  • Beginning knowledge of industry practices and standards.
  • Ideally experience of working in a complex global organisation
  • Previous experience within a communications role ideal
  • Fluent in English
  • Role based in one of BSC EMEA HUB (Milan, Madrid, Paris, Hemel Hempstead, Warsaw, Ratingen)
