Account Manager Neuromodulation
 
Location: Warsaw and Northeastern Poland (mazowieckie, lubelskie, podlaskie, warmińsko-mazurskie)
 
Purpose
 
Responsible to maintain current and developing new business opportunities for neuromodulation portfolio (ie. deep brain stimulation - DBS and spinal cord stimulation - SCS) within a defined geographical territory that clearly reflects the company's vision and priorities regarding product usage. Develops strong relationships with the Customer base and maintains an awareness of local competitive conditions to increase sales. Manages sales in assigned territory and provides on-site/remote clinical support at Customers with integrity and in accordance with our Code of Conduct.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
· Clinical: provides daily neuromodulation case support to Customers, including implant support for neurosurgeons related to deep brain stimulation and spinal cord stimulation system implants, follow-ups of neuromodulation devices (therapy programming, troubleshooting, therapy efficacy assessment) in hospitals and outpatient clinics
  • technical support: presence during neurosurgery implants to provide technical support during implantation and on-table testing, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues with already implanted devices and/or non-implantable accessories, 
  • clinical support: active contact with neuromodulation patients, including pre-surgery assessment of patient status and needs, during surgery - intraoperative testing of DBS and SCS therapy coverage/efficacy; after surgery: follow-up on patient status and therapy efficacy
· Selling: Integrates into the patient care continuum. Cultivates a small to mid-size base of customers and/or a less complex customer base. Continuously prospects for new customers, acts on leads and persuasively positions our products and services versus competitors. Drives sales revenue to achieve territory priorities. Demonstrates thorough knowledge and insight of competitor strengths, weaknesses, and strategies. Establishes the competitive culture for sales within a territory.
· Consignment management: monitoring device stock levels at assigned Customers and initiation of logistic actions when appropriate, coordination of communication between internal and external stakeholders for optimized stock management
· Business Acumen: Translates business strategy into clear objectives by maintaining pricing strategy discipline, anticipating problems and establishing procedures for meeting goals. Acts in accordance with compliance, quality, and travel & expense policies. Demonstrates a broad understanding of financial management principles and its impact on a territory level. Collaborates with Regional Sales Manager and National Accounts to increase sales team success.
· Medical Education: organizing and conducting trainings and workshops for healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses and other medical personnel) related to neuromodulation therapy, product portfolio, hands-on programming tutorials
· People: Viewed as a valuable resource by colleagues, peers and clinicians. Develops key relationships with clinicians, technicians, nurses, and patients. Is visible to the team within a territory. Provides coaching and feedback to less experienced staff.
 
 
Skills And Experience Required
 
· Experience in sales or hybrid role, as Account Manager or Clinical Field Specialist or similar
· Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, business education or related background – would be an asset
· Fluency in English
· Able to travel extensively (up to 80-100% of time) within assigned territory and outside the assigned region within Poland to support the Team when needed 
· Experience in the distribution of medical devices, preferably in the hospital sector (beneficial)
· Good collaboration, communication and influencing skills
