About the role:

 

This role performs a variety of medium to complex duties in fixed assets and capital in progress such as analyzing accounts, booking necessary journal entries, internal reporting, working with local project managers, performing the monthly financial close, monitoring SOX/internal control requirements, and support audits. This role measures performance against key performance indicators and metrics and continually identifies ways to improve and streamline processes.

 

You're Responsibilities include:

  • Performing fixed asset processes and acting as a liaison with several supported sites.
  • Compiling and analyzing Fixed Asset information through the preparation of reports and general ledger journal entries.
  • Compiling and analyzing Capital in Progress (CIP) financial information through the preparation of reports and general ledger journal entries.
  • Ensuring financial accuracy across all supported sites and supporting monthly legal entity closings.
  • Actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and standardizing processes across multiple legal entities.
  • Establishing and communicating accounting processes while maintaining a thorough understanding of SOX controls, GAAP, and new accounting guidance, as appropriate.
  • Delivering on key performance metrics and service levels agreed upon with business partners and management.

 

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and openness to working with global teams across different time zones.
  • Proactive and inquisitive mindset, with a strong interest in identifying opportunities to improve and streamline processes.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Fixed Assets and/or Capital in Progress (CIP).
  • Experience working with SAP.
  • Previous experience in a Shared Services / SSC environment.
