About the role:

GBS GA Intern will work closely with General Accounting Team supporting EMEA region. He/she will use top ERP systems such as SAP ECC and S4 HANA daily to perform different tasks supporting GA activities, like Journal Entries posting, preparing reconciliations and answering queries from our stakeholders. GA Intern’s role is a key to facilitating numerous changes and process improvements in the organization. He/she will have unique opportunity to support implementation of new ideas in collaboration with other parts of the BSC organization.

Your responsibilities include:

Supporting in the month/quarter/year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate Close and financial reports preparation.

Comply with KPI’s and OPIs as defined by GBS.

Drive compliance in all finance-related matters and ensure compliance with Corporate and local policies, statutory requirements and GAAP principles.

Participate in implementing quality requirements in all aspects of the financial process.

Identify and implement process improvement and standardization.

Ensure all activities comply with legal demands, ethical standards and the Internal Quality.

Oversee GA activities for the entities in your scope

Supporting processing monthly journal entries & reconciliations related to GA activities.

Desktop procedures creation and maintenance.

Requirements:

Advanced Excel skills

Good understanding of Microsoft Office

Advanced analytical and numerical skills

Enthusiastic student of final year of bachelor studies or master level

Attentive to details (accuracy) is a must

Polish native with excellent English oral and written communication skills is a must (minimum B2)

Strong ability to create and maintain relationships

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good time management

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
