About the Role
As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and leading the processing of scheduled payroll within the EMEA region, following established payroll processes and procedures. You will serve as a point of contact for external institutions (such as tax offices and healthcare providers) and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Human Resources, Finance, and other functions to ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness.
Your role will include preparing and managing input data, resolving employee payroll queries, partnering with payroll vendors, and continuously improving processes by driving standardization and automation. You will also contribute to broader payroll and GBS initiatives, ensuring compliance and delivering best-in-class service.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the processing of scheduled EMEA payroll.
- Acting as a point of contact for external institutions, such as tax offices and healthcare providers.
- Extracting variable input data and preparing upload templates.
- Reviewing and resolving employee payroll-related queries via ServiceNow.
- Collaborating with HR, Finance, and other internal units to ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness.
- Partnering with payroll vendors to deliver high-quality service.
- Driving continuous improvement by optimizing, standardizing, and automating processes.
- Becoming a Subject Matter Expert in selected payroll processes.
- Supporting audits by liaising with company and external auditors.
- Contributing to GBS and Global Payroll projects, including leading initiatives or project steps.
- Coaching, mentoring, and supporting team members.
- Executing payroll accounting activities (journal preparation, month-end closure, reconciliations).
- Processing pension payments, reviewing costs, and reconciling payments.
- Keeping payroll documentation up to date with process changes.
- Handling ad-hoc payroll-related responsibilities.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3+ years of in-house payroll experience.
- Knowledge of electronic attendance tracking systems.
- Solid understanding of labor law.
- Experience in an international shared services environment is an advantage.
- Fluent in English (knowledge of another European language such as Spanish, German, or French is a plus).
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management, or related field.
- Familiarity with systems such as SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, and SAP S/4 HANA is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of driving improvements.
- Positive, collaborative mindset and customer service focus.
- Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
