Senior Accounts Payable Analyst for Healthcare Professionals (HCP)

We are looking for individuals who can enhance our Healthcare Professional (HCP) team with their knowledge, creativity, and collaborative skills.

 

Role Overview:

As the Senior Accounts Payable Analyst for HCP, you will manage all HCP-related accounts payable processes in the GBS Warsaw office. This includes handling invoice and vendor queries, managing relationships with third-party vendors, and overseeing the aging of HCP vendor accounts.

Your role will require a high degree of collaboration with internal stakeholders and other support functions to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of tasks, meeting agreed SLA targets. You will work within a dynamic team environment, requiring frequent communication and coordination.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable Support: Serve as the 1st line support for accounts payable inquiries, including vendor master queries. Ensure timely and accurate processing of HCP invoices and payments, and verify compliance before payments are made. Reconcile accounts and manage the aging and reconciliation of vendor balances.
  • Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with Boston Scientific’s policies and procedures, as well as applicable compliance regulations. Keep all standard operating procedures up to date.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain awareness of and adherence to all relevant quality and regulatory standards, ensuring full compliance with Boston Scientific’s commitments.
  • Audit Support: Provide documentation (invoices, compliance records, etc.) for any audit requests related to HCP payments.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic, matrix organization
  • Problem-solving and analytical decision-making skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver on objectives

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment, particularly in finance-related functions
  • Knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and vendor management processes
  • Familiarity with healthcare invoices and compliance rules in EMEA
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal), with additional languages considered an asset
  • Experience with SAP (FI module) and ARIBA systems
