Oversees the NC Complex PCI strategy, aimed at increasing our market share and therapy penetration and adoption for capital equipment, single use devices, and Cx PCi advanced technologies at Easter Cluster level working side by side with Sales organization and Marketing Department.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Business Management: Maintains Sales Execution and Productivity: Works closely with the country Sales team, develops tactics and strategies to grow high potential regions, CxPCi FCS productivity and account productivity
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintains knowledge of the industry and the competition continually seeking information from physicians, suppliers, and others to challenge, modify and prioritize regional strategies; Maintains awareness of industry trends and their impact on local/regional sales activities
  • Leads a team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals. Guides, coaches, directs, and develops direct reports, and if applicable, drives those practices throughout their organization
  • Creates and leverages relationship with Country Key Opinion Leaders
  • Clinical Role: Assists the Clinical department, qualification, and initiation processes for trials - Key contact with the physicians and the research team during the patient screening and enrollment for clinical investigation, providing the support needed to collect all required screening materials for review by the assigned review committee and/or the sponsor. Assists the Clinical department and the hospital research team during the conduct of the study, as well as after the study procedure, in all study-required data collection, including but not limited to adverse and serious adverse events reporting, source data collection. Device Management: Monitors inventory levels, initiates logistics, i.e. shipments and movement tracking of investigational products according to regulatory and company guidelines. Monitors the levels and expiration dates of investigational product in the field.
  • Technical/Engineering Role - Assists in the clinical study procedure (sterile field), plays a key role in device preparation, provides technical support and device and system troubleshooting as needed.
  • Partners with Europe NC Marketing to create effective sales force training programs
  • If necessary, has sufficient knowledge to conduct training and support during Cx PCi procedures
  • Develops and executes sales strategies and activities in conjunction with the Cluster Sales Managers
  • Assists sales support/marketing staff members in activities such as sales promotion, training or market research in planning and executing special projects; Ensures the effective implementation of representative customer records, key contacts, reports and company policies
  • Plans and controls expenses to ensure objectives are met within budget
  • Sales Execution: Regularly travels out with each team member, to ensure divisional strategies are fully implemented
  • Ensures effective region management and account targeting is practiced in each territory
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a region targeting program; Shares personal selling experiences in a way that motivates others and teaches applicable skills
  • Identifies & recommends promotion programs and materials to help support the sales plan & strategy; Actively supports corporate/divisional selling initiatives by proactively assisting in the training and influencing their team
  • Creative Economic and Value-Added Solutions: Identifies and develops working relationships with the economic buyer in their country/ regions key accounts
  • Quality: Spends maximum time in the field with each sales representative to support their professional development needs and to maintain and develop strong relationships and understanding of the customer

Experience and Skills:

  • Min. 4 years of experience in the medical device industry as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager (experience from New Cardiology industry will be an asset)
  • Strong sales skills, solution-oriented thinking and the ability to work without appreciable direction
  • Effective Team management (recruitment, training, motivating and developing)
  • Must be goal oriented and can demonstrate the ability to achieve goals in a team environment
  • Creative with the ability to arrive with solutions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
