EP Mapper – Sales & Clinical Support Specialist
Purpose
Provide specialised sales and clinical support for electrophysiology (EP) mapping solutions across assigned territories. Promote company technologies through clinician education, product demonstrations, and in-lab procedure support. Drive adoption of EP mapping systems and associated portfolios by partnering closely with physicians, EP lab staff, and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Support

Serve as the primary technical and clinical resource for EP mapping products within the assigned territory, providing guidance on clinical application, workflow optimisation, and troubleshooting.

Deliver impactful product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to physicians, EP lab staff, and hospital stakeholders, ensuring a strong understanding of product capabilities and clinical value.

Identify customer needs, position EP mapping solutions effectively, and support strategic sales initiatives in partnership with the sales team.

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with EP physicians, nurses, technicians, and hospital stakeholders through continuous engagement, education, and in-field support.

Respond to customer queries, technical needs, and product-related issues by identifying solutions or collaborating with internal teams such as engineering, marketing, and technical support.

Support sales planning activities, including account strategy execution, pipeline support, and opportunity development.
Stock Management

Manage inventory for the assigned territory, ensuring appropriate stock levels of EP mapping systems, disposables, and accessories to support scheduled cases, demonstrations, and customer requirements.

Forecast product needs in collaboration with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.

Coordinate ordering, delivery, and replenishment of products in line with case schedules, customer demand, and internal processes.

Track, reconcile, and document inventory accurately, including consignment stock where applicable.

Monitor product usage, expiry dates, and storage conditions to maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance.

Support product returns, exchanges, and loaner equipment processes in accordance with company policies.

Ensure adherence to internal controls, quality standards, and regulatory requirements related to inventory handling and documentation.
Clinical Support

Provide in-lab support during EP mapping procedures, ensuring correct system setup, real-time assistance, and optimised workflows for clinicians.

Support clinical troubleshooting, mapping strategy optimisation, and integration with complementary EP technologies.

Conduct training sessions on mapping system operation, software updates, clinical workflows, and best practices.

Maintain high clinical competency through continuous training, certification, and knowledge updates on EP mapping technologies.

Provide on-call clinical coverage when required to support customer needs and procedural schedules.
Job Scope and Leveling Guidelines
- Knowledge:
A developing professional with foundational knowledge of electrophysiology workflows, EP mapping systems, and clinical applications. Demonstrates understanding of hospital environments, EP lab practices, and medical device workflows. - Problem Solving:
Able to analyse clinical, technical, and operational challenges, recommend feasible solutions, and assess the impact on workflows and customer outcomes. - Planning and Organisation:
Capable of managing territory responsibilities, prioritising case support, customer meetings, inventory management, and administrative tasks effectively. - Discretion / Latitude:
Works under general direction while independently managing field activities, customer engagement, clinical support, and territory-related responsibilities. Exercises sound judgement and seeks guidance when appropriate.
