About the role:
Reporting to the Data & Business Solutions Manager, the Master Data Management Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining Customer, Seller and Material Master Data across EMEA. This role also serves as a trusted partner and advisor to our business users, while overseeing a variety of Master Data related activities in SAP ECC / S4HANA and MDG. Additionally, the Master Data Specialist plays a crucial role in continuously improving Data processes to ensure the effective and efficient achievement of business goals and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities include:
- Creating, modifying, and maintaining customer, seller and material master data in SAP ECC, SAP S4HANA, MDG and other systems
- Investigating potential data issues across applications, identifying solutions, and implementing them effectively
- Engaging in Master Data activities as part of mergers and acquisitions
- Conducting continuous process reviews, identifying and proposing opportunities for improvement to enhance Master Data quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Supporting EMEA-wide master data related projects and enhancements
- Documenting data management processes, workflows and governance standards
- Providing required support for audits (e.g. SOX)
- Working closely with diverse functions, including Customer Care, Marketing, Finance, and Sales
- Cultivating a collaborative environment
Requirements:
- Currently Studying Bachelors or Masters (IT, Data Analytics).
- Proficient English & fluent Polish (C1)
- Additional languages are an asset (French, Spanish, Italian)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Self-starter with a sense of urgency to complete activities and projects with high quality
