Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer role in the Sustain R&D team will focus on project assignments within the electrical and electronic subsystems of our entire medical laser console portfolio. This person will work with a cross-discipline team of engineers to ensure commercialized laser systems and accessories comply to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in project teams to develop clear specifications, participate in design improvement efforts, and define timeline for electrical re-design and testing work.
- Create electrical designs utilizing the departments’ standard development tools and procedures.
- Complete project deliverables on time and monitor project schedule and scope changes to assure team can meet delivery requirements.
- Coordinate, monitor, and document project designs, estimates, and costs.
- Prepare standard reports/documentation to communicate status and results.
- Lead project teams that include Quality Engineers, Regulatory Specialists, Field Service, and V&V Engineers in the risk management, design improvement, testing, and documentation of medical laser in compliance with worldwide medical device standards.
- Design electrical systems and electrical boards.
- Lead electrical investigations partnering with system engineer and SW team
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
- At least 4 years of experience in Medical Device capital equipment.
- Have hands-on experience in both Analog and Power )Digital – advantage)
- Have Altium, PCAD, or OrCAD experience.
- Exhibit strong technical writing skills.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
- Display self-motivation and willingness to learn.
- Experience in 60601-1 Standards , Design and testing - Advantage
