The IT Systems Administrator will be part of the global IT team and will manage, maintain, and optimize the company's IT infrastructure and systems. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with site and global IT projects in collaboration with local Facilities and Regional/Global IT teams.
  • Manage all site network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, and UPSs.
  • Evaluate, escalate, and enhance the performance of on-premises systems as applicable.
  • Administer and support local servers, laptops, peripherals, printers, audio-visual hardware, and mobile devices.
  • Contribute to detailed analysis and documentation of processes for local systems.
  • Assist with site/country IT audits in collaboration with Cybersecurity GRC, reporting on product regulatory and security compliance policies as applicable.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and product quality by complying with BSC Quality policies and processes.
  • Contribute to the Modern Desktop and asset management modernization program.
  • Drive site-wide technology adoption and usage for BSC investments through promotion and education in technologies such as Teams, Co-pilot for M365, AI Support Bot, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Provide day-to-day support to existing implementations (on-call support for applications).

 

Requirements:

 

  • BSc in Computer Science /Information Systems Management/ related technical degree.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • A minimum of 2+ years’ project experience.
  • ITIL Certificate or Experience
  • Demonstrated strong technical experience with networks, servers, and operating systems.
  • No supervisory responsibility; accountable for own contributions and meeting objectives
  • Ability to work on a Global team collaboratively in person and virtually.
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with IT colleagues, and business stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and adaptable with a global mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Uses and exercises judgment to solve problems in straightforward situations to determine appropriate action and solutions.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and communicating system configuration or applications support gaps.
  • Able to translate technical information and updates to non-technical teams and internal audiences.
  • Excellent English-language skills in both writing and speaking
