Import/Export Coordinator

Coordinate a team of Suppliers, Warehouse Employees and Forwarders, that are responsible for the physical and systematic activities (dock activity, packing, pick, shipment etc.), while identifying, resolving, or elevating issues in a timely manner.  Ensure compliance with all regulations and procedures, and partner with Quality function as necessary.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Import & Export documentation.
    Responds to internal and external customer requests.  Assists staff with problem solving, inquiries and handles escalated issues.
     
  • Coordinate Pick up by shipping company for local and abroad.
  • Collaboration with Forwarder for customs release of goods
  • Track Shipment Status
  • Respond to internal and external customer and supplier requests.
  • Investigate and resolve errors that occur between sites, Such as short ships over ships etc…
  • Support with NCEP investigations and risk assessments by retrieving necessary information to complete the prevention.
  • Identify and implement process improvements. Use of computers, printers, and other equipment as required. Lifting, bending, reaching, pulling, standing, and turning required throughout the day.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Import & Export shipment handling – Must
  • Experience in Import of Medical Devices – Advantage
  • Professional English in writing - Must
  • Good communication skills
  • Good knowledge and experience with Excel
  • Open minded and willingness to adapt new processes.
