The Senior Quality Manager is a high-visibility, high-impact role both at the site and within the global network of Boston Scientific. This role leads a team responsible for ensuring compliance to internal and external regulatory requirements, as well as creating a culture of quality that facilitates adherence to the Boston Scientific (BSC) Quality System and all applicable external regulations that BSC follows. This role is also responsible to establish an environment that drives continuous improvement so that in everything we do, we are improving the quality of patient care and all things Boston Scientific. The Senior Quality Manager will partner closely with a variety of personnel at the Yokneam site, the BSC Urology division, and the global BSC network to drive continuous improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of the Quality System. The role will lead and champion core compliance activities and ensure that quality system processes are created, maintained, and followed in support of global, divisional and site quality objectives. This role also leads and champions projects and activities to ensure that the ongoing integration and implementation of the BSC Quality System is successful.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead a team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals; provide guidance, coaching, and training to staff, assist team in attaining career goals, and recruit and maintain a high-performing team.
  • Champion efforts to establish and sustain a robust culture of quality at the site.
  • Drive quality projects of major magnitude and scope.
  • Own and drive deliverables related to quality systems, product quality, and compliance; key partner in all site goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring and resolution across site functions regarding quality system compliance
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained to assure compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
  • Ensure site follows requirements of global CAPA process with robust, timely nonconformance and CAPA records and appropriate Verification of Effectiveness.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • Determine appropriate staff levels and schedules; work with key partners to understand priorities and plan resource allocation accordingly.
  • Maintain and enhance cross-functional team relationships.
  • Collaborate across the site and BSC network to achieve organizational goals related to Quality Systems processes.

 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7-9 years of relevant work experience 
  • 5+ years of direct supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership ability and a passion for leadership excellence
  • Dedication to continuous improvement
  • Experience in the medical device/pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent English-language skills in both writing and speaking
  • Ability to work and thrive in a matrixed global organization
  • Ability and desire to work on site 4-5 days/week 
  • Desire, drive, and capability to excel in role and advance in responsibilities
  • Advanced degree in a technical field or business- advantage
  • Previous experience working in Israel for a large global company based in U.S.- advantage
