Key Responsibilities

 

The core objective of this role is to support the SDE Manager to maintain the goals and objectives of the department.  The aim is to build a 'total service approach' to external and internal customers. Responsibilities:

  • Fully knowledgeable in the company's policies, procedures, and practices.

  • Define and monitor that all Lumenis products service KPI’s are met.

  • Work closely with the SDE’s on the day-to-day data reported by the FSE’s in the field into GSMS.

  • Prepare quarterly reports for Lumenis products trends.

  • Follow up and taking necessary actions to ensure field issues are reflected to the internal units such as QA, Engineering and R&D.

  • Provides daily, weekly or monthly reports of trends from the field.

  • Manage SDE team sustainment documentation update activity with the service QA.

  • Maintain a high level of technical product knowledge that is adequate to respond to everyday needs for technical product information.

  • Builds strong customer relationships and encourages open discussions which contribute to continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Get appropriate authorization regarding pricing issues.

  • Define and build service processes.

  • Prepare technical documentation: service manual, CAF, Service plan, Checklists.

  • Learn the Lumenis laser products to an SDE technical understanding level.

 

 

Quality Requirements

 

 

  • In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

  • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.

  • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

 

 

Education and Experience

 

  • 3 years’ technical experience with capital equipment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work both independently, as well as part of a team

  • Medium to high level of English language

  • Highly service-oriented

  • Ability to lead complex projects with R&D, Engineering and QA.
