Job Title: Software Application Engineer

 

Main Duties:

 

  • Responsible to design, develop and implement software applications running under Windows in multidisciplinary systems
  • Responsibility for products software engineering process while maintaining the required standards
  • Analyzing and enhancing efficiency, stability and scalability of software resources
  • A self-employed team player who works in a planned and motivated manner while supervising performance and meeting goals
  • Applying mathematics and statistics to problem-solving initiatives.

 

Requirements:

 

  • BSC in Computer Science or related technical field 
  • 5+ years industry experience 
  • Experience with .NET 4.0 (at least .Net 4.0)
  • Expert level developing in MS Visual Studio C# using WPF.
  • Experience with design patterns, and GUI design patterns)  MVVM/MVC(
  • Familiarity with Windows embedded editions (Windows Embedded Standard 7, Windows 10 LTSB)
  • Experience with C++/C# interoperability (C++ CLI or controlling P/Invoke) 
  • Strong understanding of multithreading and object-oriented programming
  • Experience with USB communication protocol
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications throughout the software development life cycle 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary environment 
  • Experience with hardware integration, system bring-up and validation 

 

Advantageous Requirements:

 

  • C, C++, MFC and Win32 API programming
  • Familiarity with the regulatory requirements for medical software
  • Experience with Unit testing in Visual Studio
  • Familiarity with WCF
  • TCP/IP, CANBUS, Serial communication protocols.
  • Some experience with embedded system.
  • Familiarity with automation and testing frameworks
