 Electrical Engineering Team Leader

 

 

The role of Electrical Team Lead in our Sustain R&D team involves steering projects in the electrical and electronic subsystems of our medical laser console portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You'll be at the forefront of a collaborative team of engineers, ensuring our laser systems meet commercialization requirements.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or actively participate in project teams, contributing to specifications, design enhancements, and defining timelines for electrical redesign and testing.
  • Lead Electrical investigations with System Engineering and Software teams.
  • Develop electrical designs using the departments’ standard development tools and procedures.
  • Provide support for end-of-life processes, feature modifications, and new product initiatives.
  • Ensure timely project completion, monitoring schedules, and adapting to changes.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and document project designs, estimates, and costs.
  • Generate standard reports to communicate project status and results.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams in design improvement, testing, and documentation to meet global medical device standards.
  • Lead the Sustain R&D Electrical engineering team, focusing on building investigation skills, EMC/Safety, Design, and testing.


     

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
    • Advantage to Practical Electrical Engineering background
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Device capital equipment.
  • Advantageous to have experience in 60601-1 Standards, Design, and testing.
  • Hands-on experience in both Power /Analog and Digital Hardware.
  • Proven team leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
