Purpose Statement

The Student Electrical Engineer role will focus on project assignments within the electrical and electronic subsystems of a medical laser console. This person will work with a small, cross-discipline team of engineers to ensure commercialized laser systems and accessories comply to regulatory standards and will evaluate and revise the existing Design History File (DHF) packages to comply with an updated Quality System, including system requirements, test methods, and design verification testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists in the design, development, and testing of electrical circuits and systems by using relevant tools, analysis techniques, and technologies.
  • Documents electrical design changes and testing by writing documents, reports, memos, change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards.
  • Tracks electrical development effort by creating and maintaining records in the approved tracking management tool.
  • May be responsible for various components of project assignments to include: Developing and adhering to timetables; Coordinating meetings; Preparing status reports, records, and documents; Communicating requirements to vendors; Executing project deliverables within timelines; May conduct research and compile and analyze information for reports in order to make decisions and/or recommendations.
  • Translates complex and/or technical concepts into documents (letters/memos/presentations, etc.) by researching subject; anticipates needs for communications; makes suggestions for improvements in existing communications.
  • Manages work in a confidential manner, ensuring information is shared with internal and external individuals in an appropriate manner.




    • Have PCAD, OrCAD, or Altium experience
    • Exhibit strong technical writing skills
    • Demonstrate strong communication skills in both Hebrew and English
    • Display self-motivation and willingness to learn
    • Third-year student major Electrical or Electronic engineering
