Intern Data Engineer

We are seeking passionate and motivated Data Engineer to support Cartago site.Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data engineering and analytical solutions that are easy to consume.Job responsibilities include:Design, build, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.Develop and maintain data models, ETL pipelines, and BI solutions using tools such as SSIS, Python, and GitLab.Proactively recommends requirements and/or process improvements, automation opportunities and best practicesPartners with business product owners to set and align business prioritiesResponsible for validating that the delivered product meets the strategic business objectives through activities such as demos, etc.Provide support on issues before, during, and after deploymentInteracts with the business areas and production units to understand all data requirements to develop business insights and translates them into data structures and data model requirements to TEC Ops team

We are seeking candidates with:  Active enrollment and at least 70% of their study plan completed.  Fluency in English at a level of 60% is required, along with advanced Microsoft Office skills.This temporary internship, lasting 6-12 months, requires university enrollment throughout the duration.  Experience working with Power BI and python preferredExperience with GitLab is a plus
