About the Role:

 

This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and cross-functional team by supporting the qualification of new cleanrooms, operation of the Microbiology Laboratory and the successful launch of transfer and new products for the BSC Cartago site. The role is critical in establishing, updating and maintaining microbiology and work environment procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and business objectives.

 

 

Your Responsibilities Include:

 

· Execute testing related to the monitoring program of controlled environments of the Costa Rica site.

· Contribute as matter expert on microbiology testing, assuring the product meets documented requirements and that processes are controlled.

· Perform or participate in the validation of the Microbiology Lab´s new equipment.

· Maintain the finished goods microbiological testing program (Bioburden and Endotoxin testing)

· Review test results and reports.

· Perform the inspection and testing of culture media received in the site.

· Assure proper supply of reagents and materials required for lab operation.

· Support tasks related to microbiology investigation systems, such as generation of metrics and monitoring the corrective and preventive actions feeder system.

· Act as Quality Engineer for Facilities related matters.

 

What We’re Looking For:

· Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology or related fields.

· English Level required: B2:(80-89%).

· Desired knowledge: Sterilization of medical devices, Microbiology Control for Cleanrooms, Microbiology testing validation and Cleanrooms Qualification. Equipment qualification.

· At least 2 year of experience in similar position.
