About the Role:
Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated engineer to work on process development to support new technology design and commercialization of new technologies across BSC. The candidate must have a desire to utilize their skills to solve technical/complex problems in a hands-on manner, working in a fast-paced environment, and across multiple functions in a global company as well as mentoring new engineers in the department when needed. The successful candidate for this position will contribute with different execution activities related to the definition, refinement and validation activities to enable medical device innovation.

· Assess process capabilities, identify and prioritize improvement opportunities, and innovate and implement improvements on complex and multiple processes.
· Apply advanced technical knowledge to design, develop, and optimize processes, procedures, tooling, and automation.
· Lead functional deliverables associated with PDP (Product Development Process) and TDP (Technology Development Process), including project management and compliance with quality systems.
· Plan, organize, and conduct technical reviews, presenting data and recommendations for strategic decisions.
· Write validation protocols and reports for new processes, ensuring traceability and regulatory compliance.
· Ensure complete documentation to meet quality system requirements (e.g., TMVs, OQ/PQ, MVPs, BOM, FMEAs).
· Plan and execute development builds using special work requests.
· Develop qualified production lines and apply Lean tools to support ramp-up and scalability.
· Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to engineering print packages.
· Contribute ideas for Intellectual Property submissions.
· Act as a technical mentor for new team members and provide training to technicians and operators when required.
· Serve as a core or extended team member on new product projects.
· Demonstrate advanced project planning skills and effective communication (oral and written).
What We’re Looking For:
· Licenciature in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mecatronics Engineering, Electronic-Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering
· English Level required: B2+ (80% - 89%).
· Desired knowledge: Statistics, Problem Solving, Process Improvement, Project Management, Process Validation, Clinical Knowledge, mechanical design, test automation.
