About the Role

Provide support to the Quality department in the areas of nonconforming product management, preventive quality activities, quality assurance, and quality metrics control.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute project and product testing activities.
• Perform sample analysis and communicate results to cross-functional teams.
• Conduct testing, collect data, verify and report product test results and process monitoring, including comparison against acceptance criteria and control limits.
• Initiate, investigate, and support the generation and closure of NCEPs.
• Identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues detected through metrics.
• Support product failure analysis activities.
• Assist with product and material containment and control follow-up.
• Support engineers with failure analysis and CAPA activities.
• Support process and product qualification activities.
• Assist in improvement initiatives and in the development or update of work instructions.
• Identify and lead departmental initiatives related to quality best practices and continuous improvement.
• Act in a support role during internal and external audits.
• Execute preventive quality initiatives and programs.
• May perform additional responsibilities related to training and certification programs for operational personnel.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in related roles.
• High School diploma completed.
• Technical degree in Quality, Production, or Logistics, or at least 50% completion of a related university degree.
• English proficiency level: 50–59%.
• Availability to work Shift B (Monday to Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) at the Cartago plant.
