About the Role:
Coordinate and organize all activities related to inbound and outbound materials for the Free Trade Zone Regime, assure compliance with Government Free Trade Zone Regulations. Management of Raw Materials, MRO’s and Finished Goods to assure inventory accuracy. Provide efficient materials and transportation alternatives as per corporate and Government regulations. Provide guidance and develop expertise in Support information systems with focus on SAP, develop tools and metrics to be used at all organizational levels. Manage Materials supply to production lines and on time receiving from vendors
Your Responsibilities Include:
· Control transportation cost and search for efficiency on Logistics process.
· Follow up to Materials shipments (export, imports, TRE’s y VRE’s)
· Manages Receiving, Warehouse, Reservations, Shipping Process, Sterilizer Scheduling and Product distribution to Tier 1 efficiently & effectively
· Constantly works toward streamlining Logistics processes to improve product flow and eliminate non-value-added activities.
· Works closely with Procurement, Planning, Operations, Suppliers and Quality Departments to ensure smooth flow of material and achieving committed delivery performance.
· Select and hold Transportation Providers accountable by agreed contracts. Work with all carriers to meet on time delivery performance at the highest quality and at a competitive rate.
· Manage questions about imports, export process, and Free Trade Zone Regimen.
· The custody of materials is stored and keeps the purchasing department informed about any special situation.
· Develop continuous improvement projects.
· Responsible for Freight Budget Control
· Responsible for the contract and the improvements of the freight network
· Responsible for Sterilization Budget Control
· Prepares and accompanies the audits for governmental entities.
· Analyze business processes, and information flow to develop and improve efficiency in material areas.
· Lead supporting project for material Department related to SAP and systems.
· Work with Corporate GSP, MG Operations, IT, Supply Chain, and the different areas of Materials Department to guarantee appropriate priority order.
· Define user requirement specs in SAP. Perform testing; simulate scenarios, lead and successfully complete any project related to IT/SAP, in the Materials Department.
· Additional Responsibilities: Develop and manage technical skills in SAP. Design functions, systems, tools and documents for Materials Department education. Implement “Business Essentials” tools for Materials Dept. Develop Corporate projects in BSC CR. Manage, implement and drive MMF (making materials flow). Supervise Material Handlers (Warehouse and Production)
What We’re Looking For:
· Licenciature degree in International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or field related.
· At least 10 years of experienced in similar positions.
· English Level: C1: 90-94%
· Desired knowledge: APICs Certification desirable, FDA regulated industry or ISO, Free Zone Trade and national and internacional laws, Transita and ZADAF System knowledge desirable, SAP.
