Materials Handler II (2 cycle Shift) 11 month Defined Term 

 

Due to significant growth at our Boston Scientific Clonmel site we have a job vacancy for Material Handler to join its Supply Chain Manufacturing team.

The responsibilities include: 

 

  • Transfer material from SAP to MES
  • Transports material upon request, using a forklift/pallet truck
  • Deliver material to the production floor.
  • Manage FIFO
  • Perform Cycle Counts based on calendar.
  • Notify production of expiring material.
  • Ship material, devices, and submit Continuous Improvements.
  • Report issues and challenges.
  • Audit readiness.
  • Manage correct storage of all material.
  • Complete any other tasks/roles assigned as necessary.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Leaving Certificate qualification or Fetac Level 5.
  • MES experience desirable, but not essential.
  • Warehouse experience desired. 
  • SAP experience desirable but not essential.
  • Manufacturing in a regulated environment is desirable.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills desired.
  • Good communication skills. 
  • Needs to be able to work on own initiative. 
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate a strong motivation towards teamwork. 
  • Must be flexible, highly motivated and committed with the ability to deliver results by taking the initiative.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
