Receiving Material Handler II Supply Chain Receiving Team (11 month defined term) Days

We are offering an 11-month fixed term contract to work on day shift across its supply chain receiving team. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Performs manual and clerical duties, which utilize computers in the preparation of materials, supplies, and equipment for receiving.
  • Drives and promotes safety in the area.
  • Supports the inbound Supervisor with Core Metric management.
  • Transports material (e.g., production and non-production materials) upon request, using a company van, forklift, pallet truck to the designated location.
  • Works with quality to report and investigate shipment damage with the relevant site/personnel.
  • Responsible for managing priorities.
  • CI submissions.
  • Manage material discrepancies.
  • Space/Storage location management.
  • Cycle counting.

 

Qualification and Experience:

  • Leaving Certificate with passed subjects to Include Maths & English or Fetac Level 5.
  • SAP experience desirable.
  • Computer skills essential.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Full clean driving licence essential.
  • Needs to be able to work on own initiative.
  • Strong aptitude for operating equipment in a GMP environment.
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate a strong motivation towards teamwork. 
  • Must have demonstrated computer literacy.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be flexible, highly motivated and committed with the ability to deliver results by taking the initiative and taking pride in consistently delivering high quality work on time.  
  • Be a self-starter, a quick learner and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude whilst driving our continuous improvement culture.
