We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Source to Pay (STP) (Supplier Enablement/Integration) on a permanent basis to join our team.
Job Purpose:
As the Senior Business Analyst (Supplier Enablement / Integration) you will play a key role in ensuring the successful Business Transformation across the BSC network.
This role will onboard and integrate suppliers on our new SCC platform, collaborating with the Magellan Workstreams, Strategic Integration Vendors, BSC BPL, SME, COP teams, Direct Suppliers and Stakeholders across the network to enable this.
Key Responsibilities:
BSC has a common set of tools for vendor collaboration to automate quality system controls, share visibility in the entirety of the supply chain, and maintain continuous support by pairing with the primary ERP system.
In order to meet this need, you will partner with internal SMEs and external consultants to support the below scoped activities:
- Align wave and sprint plan with the Magellan program
- Develop training for suppliers on any gaps that the SAP training does not cover, and create training for buyers and sourcing experts on what their suppliers should expect to ensure the key BSC stakeholders can provide support
- Facilitate supplier onboarding, stakeholder engagement and buy-in discussions with Sr Leaders of strategic suppliers in partnership with Sourcing and Direct Purchasing teams responsible for Supplier relationship.
- Partner with P2P and planning, Manufacturing, Quality, logistics, Capital and Service Product teams to support Agile development of key system features/epics
- Provide feedback plan after go-live with supplier to ensure system is working and sustainable
- Coordinate procedure and E2E Process flow updates, draft and manage new global procedures as needed
- Conduct impact assessment for change enablement and interim state processes through refinement efforts. Coordinate and execute action plans to support deployment readiness (i.e. communications, trainings) for our suppliers.
- Support the supplier enablement onboarding activities (i.e. draft communications, lead/support training sessions, coordinate with Global Business Services and Indirect Procurement) to flex that team during times of high change effort.
- Creating an environment that encourages constructive feedback and coaching and proactive developmental support for all employees
- Coordinating and liaison with the other Magellan Workstreams, Strategic Integration Vendors, BSC BPL’s, SME’s, Communities of Practice’s, IT Solution Architects/COE and Stakeholders across the network to develop a strong and deep pool of expertise across Source to Pay processes and Applications.
- Aligning Requirements, monitoring project plans, communicating with Stakeholders, co-ordinating the Requirements, Design, Build and Testing Phase and supporting the network-wide Deployment.
- Proactively influencing global manufacturing sites, distribution network and divisional leaders in areas of new concepts, adoption of Best Practice and working to ensure understanding and translation of strategies, goals and the full scope of a Business Transformation initiative and simplify and standardise to best practice across Procure to Pay Business processes and Applications.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a field related to supply chain.
- 3+ years of professional or operational experience in supply chain for medical devices.
- 3+ years of experience in Systems/Applications for procurement, preferably as a BPL/SME in one or more of the following: SAP, Rapid Response, Ariba, Isupply, Ecert and/or VIM.
- Previous involvement in a major Program implementation/upgrade, ideally as an IT/Systems or Business representative.
Required skills and competencies:
- Working knowledge of ERP, Advanced planning systems (i.e. Rapid response) and Sourcing/Procure to Pay (i.e. Ariba) systems and how they interact with other Applications and Interfaces, along with knowledge of key business processes.
- A proven history of Continuous Improvement, system enhancements/upgrades, proactive problem solving or LBP.
- Ability to set, communicate and engage teams in the vision & strategy of the Magellan Program. Creates a sense of enthusiasm, passion, and personal commitment to the organization by empowering others, rewarding and celebrating outstanding performance, and creating a diverse and inclusive workplace across eight locations
- Experience of managing complex matrix organizational structures and demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across such an organization
- Good listening and communication skills, with the ability to transfer knowledge effectively.
- Demonstrated high level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to establish trust
- High sense of urgency and commitment to execution.
- Previous experience of Scaled Agile Project Management a plus and/or proven adaptability, comfort with change and ability to respond to a fast-changing environment.
- Role location is flexible, with participation at Team meetings, collaborative project events, with a Cork/Galway focus and on sites across the supply chain network.
