About the role

The role will report to Director, IT and will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire SAP S4 and ECC application landscape across all divisions and regions. This role is pivotal in driving strategic transformation, operational excellence, and delivery alignment with global business stakeholders and technology partners. This role requires at least 15 years of overall experience, with a focus on supporting large-scale enterprise applications for at least 10+ years.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full SAP ADMS portfolio, including S4 and ECC platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and regional needs.
  • Provide IT leadership for the myBuy platform and associated applications like RPA, Legacy Business Apps, and TMO.
  • Serve as the technical leader for Magellan development and future deployments ensuring readiness and scalability.
  • Act as the relationship owner for delivery and execution with vendor partners, coordinating performance, capacity planning, and shared services.
  • Ensure adherence to global compliance standards including SOX, GDPR, and manage risk through system health initiatives and security posture updates.
  • Lead contract renewals and negotiations, ensuring alignment with the Global IT Sourcing guidelines and Master Service Agreements
  • Collaborate with SAP global account executives, software-specific partners, and preferred success consultants to resolve escalations and improve service delivery
  • Ensure the development align with program schedules and industry best practices.
  • Manage financials and vendor relationships while providing overall oversight to the team.
  • Utilize global experience in planning, developing, and deploying large, complex ERP solutions within the SAP ecosystem. Work seamlessly with offshore and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, Executive Steering committees, and regional leaders. Demonstrate ability to manage multiple consulting partners, contractors, and software vendors.

 

What we’re looking for: Required competencies

  • Strategic thinking with a focus on business outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Must have the ability to engage with all levels of personnel, external consultants, software vendors and agency partners.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale SAP portfolios globally.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S4/HANA, ECC, and integration with platforms like Ariba.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with business stakeholders.
  • Proven track record with successful ERP implementations and managing offshore and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Effective Communication and Strong Influence skill required to mentor and coach the wider IT Team in India
  • Strong Collaboration skills which help to navigate across regions and functions 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • 15 years of overall experience, with a focus on supporting large-scale enterprise applications for at least 10+ years.
  • Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science, MIS, or similar area of study.
  • Life Sciences industry experience along with knowledge and understanding with Commercial processes, manufacturing, quality & finance preferred
