Vice President EP Sales and Marketing and RM Capabilities, EMEA
The position will be responsible for driving and developing the Electrophysiology business strategy in EMEA for Boston Scientific, aimed at increasing our market share and therapy penetration. Accountable for leading sales and marketing strategies and activities, growing faster than the market, towards our goal of category leadership.
Responsible for the financial, operational performance and capability evolution of the RM EMEA marketing team, of 70 people, and the development of marketing strategy for the full RM product range.
Strong collaboration with the different stakeholders within the organization will be key to the success of this role.
This position reports to VP Rhythm Management EMEA, acts as strong second leader in the division, deputizing as appropriate, and is part of the EMEA Rhythm Management leadership team.
Your responsibilities will include:
● RM Capabilities. Lead the RM EMEA marketing team, including capability development in areas such as Omnichannel, KOL Management and KAM marketing.
● Lead EP EMEA: The VP Sales and Marketing EP and RM Capabilities EMEA will lead the EMEA EP marketing team to develop the strategic direction of the EP franchise, including developing Watchman revenues in EP accounts. Driving strategy and ensuring execution of the marketing messages and tools, this role will use personal customer insight and field sales feedback to help identify and validate customer segments that help build effective commercial activities. This role will also develop Commercial strategies and tactics to win against competitors and new entrants into the market and to maximize new product introduction.
● Maintain Sales Execution and Productivity: Working closely with country Sales and Marketing Management teams, develop tactics and strategies to grow high potential regions, productivity and account productivity & profitability.
● Support franchise decision making process: The VP EP S&M will collaborate with other leaders to set the broader strategy for the Franchise. For example, collaborating with Senior Director Med Affairs, EMEA to identify, develop & roll out the appropriate training needs for HCPs and Field Clinical Specialists. This role owns the EP EMEA discretionary spend and determines investment priorities across elements including podium positioning, congress presence and clinical programs. The VP EP S&M also collaborates with key Franchise functions such as R&D.
● Develop strong Customer Engagement: Responsible for ensuring consistency of branding & communication at all internal & external customer events. Provide input on potential enhancements of existing programs. Ensuring appropriate post event follow-up happens with participating physicians, to help ensure effective therapy development in the targeted center. Develop strong KOL network and collaborate with marketing, training and Sales manager teams to develop action plans for selected KOL and key influencers.
● Drive expansion: Working with local reimbursement to identify market needs and opportunities, support market access and reimbursement (new or expansion of existing indications), and explore and execute new models for market access.
● Drive patient referrals: Partner with scientific societies and, in collaboration with EU MM and local teams, propose and support execution of initiatives to drive patient flow.
● New product introduction: Prepare local markets for new product launch.
● EMEA voice in multiple global leadership teams, and support leadership team with input to strategic decisions and investment consolidation for EU (product, clinicals, others).

Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
● Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a numerate or business subject.
● Minimum of 5–10 years' relevant experience in a senior commercial and marketing role within EP.
● Experience of working at a European level.
● Demonstrates strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
● Excellent business acumen.
● Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
● Understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies and customer needs.
● Able to set priorities and execute work in a fast-paced environment.
● Proficiency level of English.
● Willingness to travel regularly (3 days a week).
