  • Provide medical leadership on benefit-risk assessment across product development, clinical studies and post-market activities

  • Partner cross-functionally to inform product strategy and medical decision-making

  • Provide medical oversight for clinical trials, including protocol development, investigator engagement and data interpretation

  • Support post-market surveillance activities, including safety signal evaluation and device performance assessment

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and investigators to assess adverse events and emerging clinical insights

  • Represent Boston Scientific with key opinion leaders, regulatory authorities, advisory boards and professional societies

  • Review and approve clinical, scientific and regulatory materials

  • Ensure clinical accuracy and compliance across educational and promotional content

  • Contribute clinical expertise to innovation initiatives, product development and business development activities

  • Support the development and mentorship of medical and cross-functional colleagues

What we’re looking for

  • Board certification (or equivalent) in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology

  • Valid, unrestricted medical license in good standing

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an independent cardiac electrophysiologist

  • Expertise in complex arrhythmia management and advanced electrophysiology procedures

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate clinical data and apply sound medical judgment

  • Working knowledge of clinical trial design, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and medical device development

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience as a clinical investigator or participation in IRB, CEC or similar oversight bodies

  • Knowledge of global medical device regulations and post-market safety practices

  • Experience supporting innovation, business development or technology assessments

  • A global perspective and familiarity with electrophysiology practices across diverse healthcare systems
