As a Field Clinical Specialist, you will serve as a trusted clinical partner to physicians and hospital teams, providing expert technical and procedural support that enables the safe and effective use of our Urology portfolio. Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

This is a field-based position supporting customers throughout the assigned territory, with Medellin serving as the primary location. Regular travel within the territory is required, including occasional overnight travel. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

● Provide clinical and technical support to physicians and hospital staff before, during and after urology procedures, ensuring the safe and effective use of Boston Scientific products.

● Deliver product education and procedural training to physicians, nurses and other health care professionals to support clinical excellence and product adoption.

● Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers by understanding their clinical and business needs within the assigned territory.

● Partner closely with the Regional Sales team, Clinical Lead and Clinical Management to support account strategies, customer cases and commercial objectives.

● Identify opportunities to expand product utilization and contribute to territory growth through proactive customer engagement and clinical expertise.

● Maintain a comprehensive understanding of assigned accounts, customer workflows and competitive activity to support strategic business planning.

● Resolve clinical and technical questions with professionalism while providing timely, customer-focused solutions in fast-paced clinical environments.

● Accurately document activities, complete required reporting and ensure compliance with all company policies, quality standards and applicable regulations.

● Continuously develop clinical knowledge and technical expertise through ongoing training and self-directed learning.

● Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customer cases, training activities and business needs.

 

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing or another health-related field.

● General knowledge of the health care industry, hospital operations and surgical or interventional procedures.

● English proficiency at the B2 level or higher.

● Availability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory, with occasional overnight travel.

● Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate complex clinical information effectively to health care professionals.

● Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities.

● High commitment to ethics, integrity and compliance.

 

Preferred qualifications:

● Previous experience supporting medical device procedures or providing clinical support in a hospital environment.

● Experience within the urology, endoscopy, operating room or interventional medical device industry.

● Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for identifying opportunities and delivering customer value.

● Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

● Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

● Self-motivated professional who thrives in fast-paced clinical environments and adapts quickly to change.
