Job Description

 

Perform all procedures related to exports and imports conducted within the company, providing efficient alternatives to materials transportation and for keeping records up to date to obtain in compliance audits.

 

 What we're looking for:

 

  • Supervise the shipping process for exporting finished goods including personnel preparing shipments to ensure process is conducted according to local and corporate procedures.
  • Create and process documents required for export or import goods. Create cargo manifestos. May have to determine corresponding transportation costs.  Answers customer inquiries on exports or imports procedures.
  • Additional Responsibilities:  Operations Book. Monthly Local Purchasing and Services Reports.
  • Share responsibility with planning and purchasing for the monitoring of the transit of goods with 3rd Party logistics services and sterilization services to ensure supply chain performance.
  • Monitor files and/or documentation for Procomer.  Represent the company in Procomer audits
  • Create invoices, as well as creating and issuing different Insurance Policies
  • Responsible for monitoring imports and exports.
  • Coordinate and assess transportation alternatives. Monitoring freight expenses for company, looking for alternative ways to control and lower costs.

 

Requirements: 

 

  • Bachelor or Licentiate degree in Industrial Engineering, Customs or related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years
  • English Level desired: 85%.
  • Good Knowledge in processes, data analysis and interpretation, imports and exports, 3PL, Distribution Centers, Global Supply Chain.
  • Systems knowledge: SAP, Power BI
  • Desired knowledge: Customs, FTZ operations.
